Overview

Sohee Kim Yoon, Ph.D., concentrates her practice on U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, patent portfolio development, freedom to operate and patentability analyses, and strategic client counseling in the life sciences field.

Sohee has extensive experience in patent prosecution in many areas of life science technologies, including antibodies, small molecules, gene editing, gene therapies, biomarkers, protein therapeutics, stem cell therapies, and molecular sequencing and diagnostics.

Sohee received her Ph.D. in integrated biomedical science from the Ohio State University. Her doctoral research focused on developing a pharmacokinetic model identifying the kinetic properties of tau-selective radiotracers and described their binding to amyloid plaques or neurofibrillary tangles in Alzheimer’s disease.
