Meredith Bayer focuses her practice on trademark and copyright prosecution, counseling, enforcement, and litigation.
She counsels clients on all aspects of brand management, including trademark selection and clearance, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement. Her experience includes representing trademark owners in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the U.S Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Meredith has represented clients in UDRP domain name disputes and advises clients on take-down requests. She also has experience with trial preparation for state and district court litigation involving trade secret and trademark disputes. Meredith’s experience spans the financial services, technology, fashion, cosmetic, and food and beverage industries.
Meredith was previously a summer associate with the firm.
During law school, Meredith was the senior note and comment editor for the American University Law Review, Vol. 70. She was a student attorney with the WCL Glushko-Samuelson Intellectual Property Law Clinic, where she represented clients in TTAB proceedings and advised small business owners on their copyright and trademark needs.
