Litigator Joseph Dorris is experienced in multiple aspects of litigation in U.S. District Courts and U.S. International Trade Commission proceedings.

Joseph focuses his practice on IP litigation. He has worked on matters involving computing, internet, telecommunications, and manufacturing patents. Before joining Fish, Joseph was a research assistant at the Innovative Computing Laboratory, the Imaging, Robotics, and Intelligent Systems Laboratory, and the Center for Intelligent Systems and Machine Learning. He was a software engineering intern at Garmin International. He also developed phone applications and helped prepare provisional and nonprovisional patent applications. Joseph has a unique ability to understand complex scientific concepts and then clearly explain the specifics of his clients’ innovations in simple terms.

Joseph passed the fundamentals of engineering exam for electrical and computer engineering.
