Overview

Alexander Rafferty focuses his practice on patent litigation in the chemicals and life sciences industries.

As a student, Alex was part of the Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School, where he drafted briefs resulting in favorable rulings before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the Social Security Administration. He was also a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and editor-in-chief of the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology.

With a background in chemical engineering and several years of practical experience, Alex is familiar with a range of chemical and industrial technologies, including refinery operations, process design, and polymers. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys hiking, camping, cooking, and homebrewing.
