Background

Derek Biehn is a law clerk in Fish & Richardson’s Washington, D.C. office. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Thomas Bernard Pender at the United States International Trade Commission. Mr. Biehn also served as an intern for the Intellectual Property Section of the Commercial Litigation Branch of the United States Department of Justice, Civil Division.

Prior to joining Fish, Mr. Biehn was a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Biehn also spent several years working as an electrical engineer at a major aerospace company.
