Background

Claire Krebs, P.E. is a litigation associate in the Austin office of Fish & Richardson. She has experience in multiple stages of litigation, and her practice focuses primarily on patent litigation.

Prior to joining Fish, she earned her professional engineering license in Texas and worked as an environmental engineer at GSI Environmental. There she focused on soil and groundwater treatment and technologies for clients in the public and private sectors (e.g., DoD, petrochemical industries, local clients), supporting their regulatory compliance and research programs. Prior to that she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras, where she taught engineering and designed potable water systems. She also has a background in mechanical engineering and computational and applied mathematics.

Claire was previously a summer associate at Fish, where she worked on matters involving oil & gas and electronics patents. She currently partners with the University of Texas School of Law’s Mithoff Pro Bono Program as a supervising attorney for student-led pro bono projects.
