Background

Cheryl Wang’s intellectual property litigation practice spans a wide range of technology, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, software, and medical devices. Ms. Wang has experience with district court, ITC, arbitration, and Federal Circuit cases. She is also committed to pro bono and diversity efforts and represents disadvantaged pro bono clients in litigation matters. She previously worked as a summer associate at Fish.

Prior to joining Fish, Ms. Wang clerked for Judge Tamila E. Ipema and Judge Joel Pressman and assisted a number of criminal judges in the San Diego Superior Court. Ms. Wang also represented pro bono clients as a part of the Child Advocacy Clinic and worked on high-impact litigation. During law school, Ms. Wang assisted distinguished professors in the field of law, including experts in civil procedure, legal research, complex litigation, and remedies.

Before becoming a lawyer, Ms. Wang researched nanotechnology in an university laboratory and developed novel antibiotic compounds in a Southern California pharmaceutical company.
