Background

Bobby Hampton is an Associate in Fish & Richardson’s Boston office. In addition to his intellectual property practice, Mr. Hampton represents low-income clients pro bono in housing and immigration matters.

While in law school, Mr. Hampton focused on intellectual property through research, advanced courses, and the Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition. After his first year of law school, Mr. Hampton worked as an IP summer associate at another firm. During his second summer of law school, he interned as a summer associate at Fish in the litigation group. During his final year of law school, Mr. Hampton completed the International and Comparative Business Law Program at Bucerius Law School in Germany. Mr. Hampton wrote his law school thesis on the structural and procedural differences between the German and United States patent law systems.
