Fish & Richardson Shortlisted for 2022 Managing IP Americas Awards

Managing Intellectual Property magazine has announced that Fish & Richardson has been shortlisted in seven categories in the 2022 Managing IP Americas Awards. In addition, six of the firm's principals have been shortlisted for individual recognition in the "Litigator of the Year" or "Practitioner of the Year" categories.

Now in its 17th year, the Managing IP Awards program recognizes the most remarkable achievements over the past year. The awards program covers numerous IP practice areas and more than 50 jurisdictions.

The firm was shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Patent Contentious (West)
  • Patent Prosecution (U.S.)
  • Patent Contentious (U.S.)
  • ITC (U.S.)
  • PTAB (U.S.)
  • IP Boutique (U.S.)

Fish principals were nominated in the following categories:

  • Practitioner of the Year (PTAB) - Karl Renner
  • Litigator of the Year, California - Chad Shear
  • Litigator of the Year, Delaware - Martina Hufnal
  • Litigator of the Year, D.C. Metro - Michael McKeon
  • Litigator of the Year, Massachusetts - Frank Scherkenbach
  • Litigator of the Year, Minnesota - Betsy Flanagan

The Managing IP Awards program is the one of the most comprehensive IP awards events in the world. Managing IP's analysts obtain information and evaluate data from thousands of firms, IP practitioners, and their clients through interviews, email, and online surveys.

The winners will be announced at a New York award ceremony on April 7, 2022.
