Fish & Richardson Receives Innocence Project Delaware’s Champion of Justice Award

Fish & Richardson is honored to receive Innocence Project Delaware’s (IPD) 2026 Champion of Justice Award, presented annually to an IPD community partner who has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to providing pro bono representation for wrongfully convicted individuals.

Since 2018, IPD has worked to address and prevent wrongful convictions in the state, and Fish is proud to partner in this vital work. For several years, Fish attorneys have advocated for an IPD client in an ongoing post-conviction matter. IPD said of the firm’s pro bono team, “Your partnership has been instrumental in advancing a complex post-conviction case, and your unwavering commitment reflects the very spirit of this award.”

Fish attorneys are dedicated to serving the communities in which they live and work, and pro bono service is an integral part of the firm’s professional culture. Fish believes that the practice of law is a privilege that carries with it the responsibility to provide pro bono legal services to those in need.

This year’s award honorees were recognized at IPD’s 2026 Chasing Freedom Gala, held on September 24 in Wilmington, Delaware.
