Fish & Richardson Recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a 2023 “Empowering Women” Firm

Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has recognized Fish & Richardson in its inaugural Empowering Women awards program, which honors law firms that have shown a strong commitment to supporting and elevating women attorneys in Massachusetts.

Firms selected for this award must demonstrate tangible and innovative efforts to advance women attorneys in the workplace and community, including some or all of the following:

• Have a track record of recruiting, hiring, and promoting women in their organization
• Offer a mentoring program for women
• Work toward systemic change in society to combat inequality
• Promote women into firm leadership
• Contribute to advancing the cause of women through outside philanthropic or community endeavors

Fish’s selection as an “Empowering Women” firm acknowledges its adherence to the Diversity Lab Mansfield Rule for hiring and promotion, the high levels of women representation on its Management Committee and Compensation Committee, significant investment and participation in its EMPOWERment mentoring program, and benefits that support flexible schedules for working mothers and caretakers, among other efforts and partnerships.
