Fish Principals Named to IAM's 2021 Strategy 300 List
IAM recently named four Fish & Richardson principals to the 2021 edition of "Strategy 300: The World's Leading IP Strategists." This exclusive list honors legal professionals across all industries who have earned a reputation for developing strategies that maximize the value of IP portfolios.
To develop the list, IAM's research team spoke to a wide range of senior corporate IP managers in North America, Europe, and Asia, as well as third-party IP service providers, to identify top IP practitioners. Only individuals nominated by multiple parties can be listed in the IAM Strategy 300.

She is sought out for her extensive experience in medicinal chemistry by both small and large pharmaceutical companies seeking to develop strong patent positions with respect to existing and future drug products. Goddard earned her Ph.D. in bio-inorganic chemistry from Harvard University.
Ryan McCarthy is the managing principal and chief representative of the representative office of Fish & Richardson in Shenzhen, China (SZRO). Moving to Shenzhen from Austin, Texas, Mr. McCarthy established the SZRO in 2018, with its official opening on 1 January 2019. Now in China and having lived and worked in Munich prosecuting patents before the German and European patent offices, Mr. McCarthy has developed an international perspective on IP issues and the challenges that clients face across the globe.
