Principal Annie King Named a “40 Under 40” Honoree by the Boston Business Journal

Fish & Richardson is proud to announce that Principal Annie King has been honored by the Boston Business Journal in its 2023 "40 Under 40” list, a recognition of high-achieving young leaders and innovators in the Greater Boston region.

In her patent prosecution practice, King manages large-scale portfolios for wide-ranging clients in the life sciences sector, including industry leaders and blockbuster-drug companies. With deep technical knowledge in chemistry, pharmaceutical formulations, polymers, and industrial chemical processes, King is sought out by both small and large pharmaceutical companies to develop strong patents for existing and future drug products. In addition to her legal practice, King is active in Fish’s EMPOWER women’s initiative, mentors a group of associates and junior technology specialists, and serves as a mentor in the firm’s Allyship affinity group. Her pro bono work includes providing patent preparation and prosecution for student participants in the Massachusetts High School Science & Engineering Fair.

According to the Boston Business Journal, “40 Under 40” honorees are selected by a panel of editors for their “influence on local business and industry, and their contributions to the civic health of Greater Boston through volunteer work and other forms of philanthropy.” Honorees will be celebrated at a reception in Boston on October 26.
