Three Fish & Richardson Attorneys Named 2018 "Rising Stars" by Managing Intellectual Property Magazine
Fish & Richardson announced that three attorneys - Kelly Del Dotto, Dr. Tasha Francis and Daniel Gopenko - have been recognized as 2018 "Rising Stars" in the U.S. by Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) magazine.
Kelly Del Dotto is an associate in Fish's Delaware office, where she focuses her practice on complex patent litigation, with an emphasis on life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical litigation, including Hatch-Waxman litigation. She received her J.D. from Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2013 and two bachelor's degrees, summa cum laude, in English and biology, from Norwich University in 2010.
Daniel Gopenko is an associate in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, where he advises technology companies on how to protect their IP and avoid infringement risks. He has represented clients in federal district courts throughout the country. He received his J.D., with honors, from George Washington University Law School in 2012 and his B.S., cum laude, in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland in 2009.
Dr. Tasha Francis is an associate in Fish's Twin Cities office, where she is a member of the firm's life science litigation group. She has extensive experience in Hatch-Waxman, biologics, medical device, and other life sciences cases, from the due diligence phase through trial. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, <em>cum laude</em>, in 2013, her Ph.D. in chemical biology from the University of Michigan in 2010, and her B.A. in chemistry and mathematics from Dartmouth College in 2002.
MIP's independent research is based on a weighted system of peer and client feedback, combined with a review of information obtained from surveys conducted with law firms and their clients. Inclusion is based solely on merit; no individual has paid to be included in the list.
