Medical Device Verdict Secured by Fish & Richardson Team Ranked in the Top 25 in ALM’s List of 2022 Northeast Top Verdicts & Settlements

A medical device patent infringement case litigated by Fish & Richardson on behalf of Rasmussen Instruments LLC has been recognized as a top 25 verdict in ALM’s list of 2022 Northeast Top Verdicts & Settlements as reported by VerdictSearch.

Fish attorneys Kurt Glitzenstein, Joy Kete, Liz Ranks, Jason Zucchi, and John Farrell represented Rasmussen Instruments LLC during a 12-day trial in March 2022 involving Rasmussen’s patented knee replacement technology. The jury found that defendants DePuy Synthes Products, Inc., and DePuy Synthes Sales, Inc., willfully infringed a Rasmussen patent, and awarded $20 million in damages. Based on the jury outcome, ALM ranked this case 23rd overall, and 4th among IP cases.
