Fish & Richardson Attorney Dexter Whitley Named an Atlas Award Winner by Leadership Council on Legal Diversity

Associate Dexter Whitley, Ph.D., has been recognized with the inaugural Atlas Award from the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) for demonstrating the highest level of dedication while completing the 2023 Pathfinder program.

“I was thrilled to be part of the Pathfinder program," said Whitley. "Learning and networking with other legal professionals was a fantastic experience, and I'm looking forward to applying those lessons to my own practice.”

The Atlas Award applauds participants who were among the most engaged throughout the Pathfinder program, which is designed to train high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies, including leadership and networking.

Whitley, a member of Fish’s litigation team, focuses his practice on complex patent cases involving life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and Hatch-Waxman litigation. Whitley received his J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Miami School of Law and his Ph.D. and M.S. in microbiology from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
