PTAB Bar Association Board Elects Principal Tom Rozylowicz as Vice President

Fish & Richardson Principal Tom Rozylowicz has been elected Vice President of the Board of the PTAB Bar Association, an organization focused on practice before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

Founded in 2016, the PTAB Bar Association serves the professional community surrounding the PTAB by fostering engagement across the PTAB ecosystem and supporting legal education, professional development, and networking opportunities. In his new role as vice president of the Board, Rozylowicz will help guide the PTAB Bar Association’s strategic initiatives and support its mission of strengthening collaboration between the PTAB and the practitioner community.

“It’s an honor to serve the PTAB Bar Association and contribute to the continued development of the post-grant practice community,” said Rozylowicz. “The Association offers a uniquely collaborative forum where diverse perspectives are valued and excellence is the shared goal. That collegial exchange is especially important given the PTAB’s critical role in the patent system, and I look forward to supporting opportunities for practitioners to learn from one another, engage with leaders in the field, and navigate an evolving landscape.”

Rozylowicz’s practice spans all aspects of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on patent procurement, post-grant proceedings under the America Invents Act, and licensing. He represents clients across a range of industries, including software, electronics, communications, and medical devices.

Rozylowicz has been actively involved with the PTAB Bar Association since 2016 after serving on several of the Association’s committees, and most recently as Secretary to the Association. His appointment reflects his steady and ongoing leadership within the PTAB community and dedication to advancing excellence in post-grant practice.
