Fish & Richardson Appoints Elham Dehbozorgi as General Counsel
Fish & Richardson has elevated Elham Dehbozorgi to the position of general counsel, effective July 1, 2025. She succeeds Roger D. Feldman, who will retire on December 31, 2025, after a distinguished career. The transition marks an evolution in Dehbozorgi’s leadership at Fish following her August 2024 appointment as the firm’s inaugural chief legal risk officer.
In her new role as general counsel, Dehbozorgi will oversee all legal, ethical, and risk management matters and serve as a strategic adviser to firm leadership. She will guide Fish through an increasingly complex legal and regulatory environment, helping to ensure compliance and uphold the highest standards of professional responsibility.
“Elham’s appointment as general counsel reflects her deep experience, thoughtful leadership and the trust she has earned across the firm,” said President & CEO John Adkisson. “As chief legal risk officer, she strengthened Fish’s technology-forward approach to risk and compliance. We’re excited to see her bring that same vision and rigor to the general counsel role.”
Feldman, who has served as general counsel since 2008, plans to retire in December 2025, marking the end of an impressive 23-year career at Fish. Under Feldman’s leadership, the firm strengthened its ethical framework and risk management systems while maintaining compliance with evolving legal standards. Dehbozorgi has partnered closely with Feldman since her arrival at Fish in 2024 to lead the firm’s legal risk and compliance function.
“I am grateful to Roger for his two-plus decades of service to the firm. With unwavering integrity, he has helped shape firm policy and guided us through complex legal matters. Roger has made a lasting mark on Fish,” said Adkisson.
