Overview

Susmitha Sayana focuses her work on intellectual property litigation in the field of electrical and computer technology.

Susmitha’s legal experience includes drafting contracts and performing legal research related to copyright and trademark ventures. Her technical background in applied mathematics engineering and computer science has given her familiarity with a wide variety of technologies, FinTech, and digital health.

Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Susmitha worked as a legal research intern for ACLU-NJ, where she contributed to the legal and data analysis that went into the 2022 Annual Report. During law school, she was editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy and a clinical student in the Rutgers Intellectual Property Law Clinic.

In her free time, Susmitha enjoys painting and spending time cooking or baking in the kitchen.
