Shihong Li, Ph.D., focuses his practice on patent prosecution support in the fields of mechanical engineering and electrical and computer technology.

Shihong is an expert in the theoretical and computational analysis of advanced structural materials, e.g., soft matters, granular materials, and lattice materials. In addition, he has extensive experience in computer-aided design, from consumer electronics to engineering structures.

In addition, Shihong is good at computer programming, e.g., C++, Python, and Fortran. While pursuing his M.S. degree in applied mathematics, Shihong concentrated in fields such as numerical analysis of partial differential equations, statistical modeling, machine learning techniques (e.g., discriminative and generative modeling), and computer visions. In his free time, Shihong enjoys hitting the slopes with a pair of skis.
