Madison Murhammer Colon focuses her practice on patent litigation in the life sciences and the energy and chemicals industries.
Madison primarily represents clients in district court litigation. She has experience in all phases of litigation, including pre-suit diligence, fact and expert discovery, drafting dispositive motions, and trial preparation.
Madison started as a summer associate with Fish in 2020. She then served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kimberly A. Moore of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (2022-2024) and as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard G. Andrews of the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware (2021-2022) before rejoining the firm. Madison draws on her clerkship experience to effectively advocate for her clients at both the trial and appellate level.
In law school, Madison was the online managing editor of the Iowa Law Review and co-president of the Intellectual Property Law Society. Her legal scholarship has been published by both the Iowa Law Review and the Drake Law Review.
