Allison Dietrich prosecutes U.S. and foreign patents related to a broad array of electrical, mechanical, and computer technologies, and she manages patent portfolios for clients ranging from individual inventors to multinational technology companies.
Adept at learning new technologies and translating clients’ innovations into comprehensive patents, Allison has prepared and prosecuted patent applications covering electrical power generation and distribution, audio and display systems, robotics, consumer electronics, home and business automation, and image processing. Allison's clients value her clear, direct communication style; both thorough and concise, she helps clients understand their options and implement effective strategies.
Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Allison worked in the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. She also served on active duty with the U.S. Navy as a systems engineering instructor at the U.S. Naval Academy and as a surface warfare officer operating an aircraft carrier nuclear propulsion plant. Currently, Allison serves as a naval reserve officer.
