Fish & Richardson Secures 2023 Gold Standard Certification From the Women in Law Empowerment Forum

Fish & Richardson has been awarded the 2023 US Gold Standard Certification by the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) for achieving substantive female representation across firm governance.

“It is once again an honor to be recognized by WILEF for our work to support the development, growth, and retention of women in law,” said Director of Diversity and Inclusion Whitney Smallwood. “It’s imperative to ensure there is female representation at all levels of law firm leadership to support the pipeline and foster equity. We’re proud to partner with WILEF to drive diversity and inclusion.”

WILEF grants Gold Standard status to a select law firms that meet stringent criteria demonstrating the firms’ commitment to retaining and advancing women attorneys to leadership roles and positions of influence. Fish is proud that 43% of attorneys who became equity partners during the last 12 months are women and 27% of the firm’s primary governance committee are women.
