Esha Bandyopadhyay Named to Daily Journal’s 2023 “Top Trade Secrets Lawyers” List

The Daily Journal has named Principal Esha Bandyopadhyay to its 2023 list of “Top Trade Secrets Lawyers.” The annual list recognizes leading attorneys in California for their significant achievements in the practice of trade secret law and for their community contributions.

Bandyopadhyay defends both plaintiffs and defendants in complex, high-stakes trade secret litigation, and she often helps companies avoid litigation entirely by developing strong trade secret protection protocols. She has successfully tried and managed matters through all phases of litigation in venues across the nation, for clients ranging in size from emerging startups to Fortune 100 companies, as well as highly innovative inventors. Her creative approach to solving problems has also allowed for numerous favorable settlements. A thought leader in the field, Bandyopadhyay frequently speaks on panels, publishes articles, and teaches trade secret law at the University of California, Davis School of Law.

Bandyopadhyay’s extensive involvement in her local and legal communities includes currently serving on the board of directors of Legal Momentum: The Women’s Legal Defense and Education Fund, and in the leadership of the San Francisco Symphony Junior Committee. In recent years, she has also served as founder and chair of the American India Foundation’s Bay Area Circle of Hope (2019-2021), on the board of directors of World Arts West (2018-2021), on the host committee of the St. Francis Foundation (2017-2021), and as social media chair of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Mother’s Group (2016-2022).

In October, Bandyopadhyay’s profile will be featured in the Daily Journal’s 2023 Top Trade Secrets issue.
