Post-Grant Practice Co-Chairs Karl Renner and Dorothy Whelan were recently quoted extensively in Managing Intellectual Property‘s article “Reviewing ‘A Tremendous Year of Change’ for the PTAB.” In it, the pair discusses the many changes that occurred at the PTAB in 2018, including Supreme Court and Federal Circuit decisions relating to the constitutionality of IPR proceedings, RPI and privity, partial institution decisions, and printed publications.
