C5's Annual Pharma and Biotech Patent Litigation Conference

C5's Pharma and Biotech Patent Litigation conference is the largest annual gathering of leading in-house IP counsel, patent prosecutors and litigators, judges, and IP policy experts from around the globe. Several Fish attorneys will be presenting topics on each day of the conference.

Jon Singer will be speaking on February 24th at the pre-conference workshop on "The U.S. Hatch-Waxman Act and Paragraph IV Litigation: Introduction to ANDA Litigation and Its Related Regulatory Schematic." Jon will provide a primer on the "ins and outs" of small molecule patent litigation in the U.S. Jon is annually named one of the nation's finest life sciences trial attorneys and he is an expert in proceedings under the Hatch-Waxman Act.

On February 25th Martina Hufnal will speak on "Biologics and Biosimilar Litigation: Enhance Success in Europe and the U.S." Her topic will focus on the "dos and don’ts" of biosimilar litigation, including leveraging the process and timeline of the patent dispute resolution process. Martina has been regularly named a "Life Sciences Star" by LMG Life Sciences.

Brian Coggio will present on "Finding Safe Harbors Around the World: Comparing and Contrasting the Research Exemptions Available in Europe and the U.S." on February 26th. Brian is an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School and regularly writes about and speaks on numerous life sciences topics.
