Our legal technology team offers an array of services, including:

  • Power Docket: Power Docket transforms docket management by including key data such as prioritization, client instructions, budgeting, and matter- and action-related context into a personalized docket for each practitioner. It extends docket management beyond simple due dates by incorporating client service and efficiency into our practice. Bloomberg Law profiled Power Docket in an article titled “Fish & Richardson Tech Team Saves Millions – 15 Minutes at a Time.”
  • FISHLink Extranet: Clients may view the electronic file and docket information for their patent and trademark matters through our secure, password-protected extranet, FISHLink.
  • BudgetMatters: Our proprietary BudgetMatters tool allows us to quickly create a litigation budget by phase, allocate hours to team members, and monitor actuals compared with the budget to ensure that case handling stays within budget.
  • Automated Practice System (APS): Fish uses a modern intake, workflow, and file system known as APS. APS ensures incoming and outgoing correspondence and U.S. Patent and Trade Office (USPTO) electronic filings are associated with the appropriate matter, added to the electronic file, and immediately routed to all relevant attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, and docketers. The Automated Client Reporting feature of APS notifies clients of all new communications from the USPTO.
  • Relativity® Analytics: Fish uses data analytics to maximize the efficiency of our document review process. We perform raw data intake and filtering in-house, avoiding unnecessary fees and ensuring that third party vendors do not have inappropriate access to confidential client information.
