Fish & Richardson Ranked Number One Patent Litigation Firm for Seventh Straight Year by Corporate Counsel

Fish & Richardson has been ranked the number one patent litigation firm in the country for the seventh straight year by Corporate Counsel magazine. The annual survey, which was published on October 22, 2010, determines which law firm handles the most patent litigation. Fish was involved in a total of 99 new patent litigation cases in 2009, a whopping 27 more cases than the firm's nearest competitor.

While the survey showed that the overall number of new patent infringement cases brought in 2009 was down by 6 percent, Fish & Richardson had a 29 percent increase in the number of cases it handled over the previous year.

In addition to handling 99 new patent litigation cases in 2009, Fish also filed 1679 new patent applications. On the trademark side, Fish & Richardson filed 399 new trademark applications in 2009.
