Overview
Noah Graubart is an intellectual property litigator and co‑founder of Fish’s Atlanta office. He represents some of the world’s leading technology companies in high‑stakes patent disputes where the business and technical issues are both complex and mission‑critical.
A seasoned litigator, Noah regularly advocates for clients in U.S. district courts, at the International Trade Commission, and on appeal. His practice spans all aspects of IP litigation, including post‑grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Noah has deep experience across a broad range of advanced technologies, including smartphone and mobile software, video and audio codecs, telecommunications systems, wireless and optical networking, semiconductor fabrication, cryptographic technologies, and hardware interfaces. Noah has successfully managed patent, trademark, trade dress, and copyright infringement matters, as well as trade secret, false marking, and complex commercial disputes.
In addition to his IP litigation practice, Noah is committed to pro bono service, serving in leadership roles for organizations focused on access to justice and the defense of constitutional rights.
Before joining the firm, Noah clerked for the Honorable Jerry E. Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Ward Participations BV v. Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., et al. (W.D. Tex.; PTAB; Fed. Cir.): Fish represented Samsung in an infringement matter targeting cryptographic technology used within Samsung Knox. Fish challenged both asserted patents in three post-grant petitions and won final written decisions of invalidity in each. These decisions were affirmed on appeal, after which the plaintiff dismissed the district court case with prejudice.

Pro bono activities
Actively involved in pro bono causes, Noah has handled numerous post-conviction proceedings in state and federal court, including several death penalty cases. Noah assisted in obtaining from the Supreme Court of Virginia a reversal and new sentencing hearing for a client facing a death sentence. Noah also assists with representing unaccompanied minors in immigration proceedings, domestic violence victims seeking temporary protective orders, and clients entitled to restriction of arrest records to assist in obtaining employment and housing opportunities. He has served as the Atlanta office’s pro bono coordinating attorney, on the board of directors of the Texas Defender Service, as a member of the Atlanta Advisory Committee of Kids in Need of Defense, and on the Atlanta Legal Aid Society Advisory Committee.
