Andrew Fraine focuses his practice on patent prosecution in the electrical and computer technology industry.
With over a decade of on-the-ground industry experience, Andrew has worked with a wide range of technologies, particularly software, data science solutions, optics, and artificial intelligence. His experience also includes helping clients navigate the prosecution of standard essential patents. Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Andrew served as a software engineer and data scientist at a marketing technology startup, where his accomplishments included launching generative AI-powered SaaS platforms.
As a Ph.D. student and researcher in quantum optics in Boston University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Andrew presented a thesis on the practical applications of quantum optical entanglement in industrial settings and real-world measurement scenarios.
