An organization’s patent portfolio and IP plan should align with its business plan, regardless of the organization’s development stage. Fish works with clients of all sizes to develop robust portfolios that deliver value back to the business. Strong portfolio management involves making strategic decisions about IP assets held by the client organization, or identifying assets owned by other organizations that our clients can acquire to strengthen their position. Portfolio management can result in additional revenue streams through the licensing or selling of patents, or the reduction of maintenance costs by abandoning patents that do not contribute to the business.
