Nitika Fiorella Selected for Delaware Business Times 2021 DBT40 List

Fish & Richardson Principal Nitika Fiorella has been included in the 2021 Delaware Business Times DBT40 List, which honors the region's top professionals under 40. The list recognizes honorees from across all industries for their leadership, career achievements, and service to the community.

Fiorella is a principal in Fish's Delaware office, where she focuses her practice on complex patent litigation spanning a wide range of technologies. Fiorella is particularly known for her appellate work: in April 2020, she argued the first-ever Federal Circuit telephonic argument after the Covid-19 pandemic forced trials and hearings online. The court ruled in her client's favor. In recent months, Fiorella has secured two additional appellate wins for her clients, including a rare reversal of a decision from the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Beyond her litigation work, Fiorella serves the community as a founding board member of Innocence Delaware, an organization seeking to exonerate those who have been wrongfully convicted in the state. She also serves as vice-chair of the Lawyers Advisory Committee to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and as a board member of the South Asian Bar Association of Delaware. She regularly handles pro bono cases for Immigration Equality.

Fiorella and her fellow honorees will be recognized at a Delaware Business Times award banquet on October 7, 2021. To learn more, click here.
