From the US, Progress Towards Creating Europe's New Unified Patent System is Looking Good
Fish & Richardson Principal John Pegram (New York) recentlycorresponded with IAM magazine on the status of the Unitary Patent and Unitary Patent Court. Mr. Pegram’s analysis was featured in an IAM blog post on the subject, which stated, “From John's perspective, although the negotiations are taking a fair bit of time, in general from the other side of the Atlantic things are looking good. To counteract my alarmism John has put together the following comments explaining why he is optimistic about both the UPC and the unitary patent.”
