Fish & Richardson sponsors MBA Technology Transfer Challenge

Fish & Richardson is sponsoring the fifth annual MBA Technology Transfer Challenge at Texas A&M University on Friday, February 16, 2007.

Underwritten by Ford Motor Company, the Challenge, a required part of the University’s MBA program, is a week-long opportunity for the students to develop their analysis, teamwork, and presentation skills. The students work in teams to learn the technology, identify market applications, assess marketplace acceptance, identify competitive technologies and form an opinion of the invention’s commercial viability.

The event culminates with oral presentations by the teams to judges from the business and academic communities. This year, a $6000 prize will be awarded to the top three teams of the week.
