Fish Named Top Intellectual Property Counsel for America's Biggest Companies

2007 issue of Corporate Counsel Magazine

Fish & Richardson was recently named the top intellectual property (IP) law firm in the country in Corporate Counsel Magazine‘s sixth annual survey of “Who Represents America’s Biggest Companies.”

For the 2007 survey, Corporate Counsel combed through state and federal records to see which law firms Fortune 250 corporations used the most in four key areas: commercial law and contracts litigation, corporate transactions, employment and labor litigation, and IP litigation and patent prosecution. Fish & Richardson took the top spot for IP litigation and patent prosecution. “This is a prestigious survey because it looks at the best of the best law firms that the largest corporations turn to for their most important work,” said Peter J. Devlin, President of Fish & Richardson. “We’ve built our reputation as the premier firm for high profile, high-stakes patent litigation and prosecution, so it’s very gratifying to see that reflected in this survey.”
