David Feigenbaum Named One of the World's Leading IP Strategists by IAM Magazine

Boston, MA, June X, 2009 - David Feigenbaum, a principal in Fish & Richardson's Boston office, has been named to Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) magazine's June 2009 list of the top 250 World's Leading IP Strategists.

To compile the IAM 250 World's Leading IP Strategists Guide, the magazine spent six months speaking to leading IP professionals around the world to identify individuals considered to be world-class IP strategists: men and women whose business is the creation, development, and deployment of strategies that enable rights owners to gain maximum value from their portfolios. Individuals must have been nominated by their peers to be considered for the IAM 250.

Mr. Feigenbaum was chosen because of his reputation as one of the top patent-portfolio building attorneys in the country. Over the years, he has worked with some of the country's most prominent inventors, including Dr. Amar Bose, founder of Bose Corporation; Dr. An Wang, founder of Wang Laboratories; Dr. Robert Kahn, creator of the TCP and IP protocols that form the basis of the Internet; Dr. G. David Forney, Jr., a seminal thinker in modem technology at Codex in the 1970s; Dr. Patrizio Vinciarelli, founder of Vicor; Robert Keane, founder of VistaPrint; and Eric Giler, founder of Brooktrout Technologies.

"The IAM 250 is a very prestigious list, and we are honored to have David included among the world's top IP strategists in a survey of his peers. Nobody deserves this recognition more than he does," said Peter Devlin, President of Fish & Richardson.

Mr. Feigenbaum was named a Best Lawyers in Intellectual Property Law and Technology Law in 2007 and 2008, and has been included on the list of Massachusetts Super Lawyers since its inception. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1972 and his B.S. in engineering and applied sciences from Yale College in 1969.

IAM magazine is an international magazine that focuses on intellectual property from a business point of view, giving companies the inside track on how they can extract the maximum value from the patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets they own.
