PTAB Publishes Final 'Quick Fix' Rules in Federal Register
The PTAB has published its final "Quick-Fix" Rules in the Federal Register today. The rules are effective immediately. This Final Rule codifies changes that the PTAB has implemented recently in Scheduling Orders to increase the page limitations for Petitioner's reply brief and for briefing for Patent Owner's motion to amend (also allowing a claims appendix). This Final Rule also conforms the rules to certain Office practices in conducting AIA proceedings.
