Pro Bono at the (Patent) Bar

Please join Fish & Richardson for a happy hour in downtown San Diego during a break in programming from the AIPLA Spring Meeting.

Connect with fellow intellectual property attorneys and enjoy a sampling of appetizers and local brews from Stone Brewing Tap Room.

USPTO Pro Bono Coordinator John Kirkpatrick, AIPLA Pro Bono Committee Chair Angela Grayson, and California Lawyers for the Arts Legal Director Bob Pimm will be sharing information about how you can utilize your unique skills as an IP lawyer to help financially under-resourced California inventors protect their IP.

In addition, special guest Crystal Haynes, Founder of Luxe Therapy, will be joining us to discuss her experiences working with Fish pro bono counsel through the California Lawyers for the Arts' California Inventor Assistance Program ("CIAP"). Ms. Haynes has been a Fish pro bono client since 2013. Since that time, Fish pro bono counsel has helped Ms. Haynes secure patent and trademark protection for her intellectual property and a licensing deal with a major retail outlet, enabling her to bring her hair care tools and products to market across the country.
