NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. The Annual Convention showcases Black students and professionals who have a passion for science, technology, engineering and who are dedicated to advancing their communities and society at large. The NSBE Career Fair is the premier career fair geared toward African Americans in STEM.
