MedtechVision 2017: The Evolution of Medtech

Fish is proud to support MedtechWomen’s MedtechVision 2017: The Evolution of Medtech conference, September 12, in Menlo Park, CA.

The medtech sector has been in flux in recent years. Corporate consolidation, pricing pressure, rising regulatory requirements and salesforce constraints have all played a role. Venture funding for medtech is out of favor, perhaps for good, leading some to conclude that “medtech is dead”. Simultaneously, new innovations and new entrants have emerged from the tech and retail sectors that may represent competition or opportunity for medtech to take advantage of data, connectivity and partnerships that will enable medtech to reinvent itself. The conference will approach this debate head on with examples of where traditional medtech is alive and well and where it has faltered alongside examples of where the new opportunities have been successful and where they have failed and why.

Speakers for this year’s conference include Nada Hanafi (Chief Strategy Officer, Experien Group), Leslie Oley (Head of Product & Growth, Evidation Health), and Stacey Pugh (VP and General Manager, Medtronic Neurovascular), among others. To learn more, click here.
