LCLD 1L Diversity Scholars Summit
In 2005, Fish & Richardson launched the 1L Diversity Fellowship Program - which provides annual fellowships to diverse first-year law students throughout the country. The Program represents a key component of the firm's ongoing initiative to recruit, retain, and advance attorneys who will contribute to the diversity of our practice and of the legal profession. We are proud to have selected 7 outstanding Fellows in 2018. As part of this initiative, Diversity Fellows have the opportunity to participate in the 1L Scholars Summit of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). LCLD is a national organization made up of more than 220 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners working to build a more open and diverse legal profession. The 1L LCLD Scholars Summit is designed to strengthen the legal pipeline by expanding the number of opportunities for diverse first-year law students. The Summit will take place Tuesday, May 22 – Thursday, May 24, 2018at the Sheraton Philadelphia Society Hill hotelin Philadelphia, PA. Mock Interviews will be held at the Philadelphia office of Reed Smith LLP.
