A panel of judges selected this year's outstanding Minority Business Leaders from hundreds of nominations based on professional accomplishments, community leadership, and overall business success. Davis was singled out for this award for his entrepreneurial drive, creativity, and success as one of the most sought after IP litigators handling high-profile, high-stakes litigation for big name companies. Davis is also actively involved in serving the community and helping mentor other African American attorneys.

Ahmed was honored at the Fourth Annual Minority Business Leader Awards program on March 25, 2011. Watch his interviewwith the Washington Business Journal about an experience he had while clerking for a Federal Judge. This experience “reminds him that as he goes through his practice and he represents large companies, at the end of the day the people making decisions in the court are just that, they’re people. That’s who you need to talk to. You’re talking to people.”
