Tracy has prosecuted software patent applications throughout his entire legal career, with many of these applications being directed to technologies that used machine learning as well as data acquisition, management, and processing. Tracy has a tremendous amount of experience in prosecuting various e-commerce-based predictive marketing technologies, as well as evaluating the validity of patents in this area in view of the prior art. This experience has provided Tracy with the ability to prepare patent applications that will not only be allowed by the patent office, but will also provide valuable protection of clients’ technologies.
Tracy also has significant experience protecting innovations related to digital experience platforms, cryptography, multi-party computing, biometrics, telecommunications, and mesh networks.
Tracy leveraged his software expertise to create FishStream AI, a proprietary artificial intelligence-assisted legal technology tool designed to improve patent prosecution workflows. The tool, which combines human-in-the-loop insights with enterprise-grade AI to streamline foundational prosecution tasks, is in use across the firm's patent prosecution practice.
