Sara J. Brandt, Ph.D., specializes in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Sara worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Helmholtz Zentrum München Institute for Diabetes and Obesity, with a focus on peptide-based pharmacologies.

Sara earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Duke University and her doctoral degree in biochemistry from Indiana University. Her studies included chemistry, biochemistry, biology, anthropology, and pharmacology, and her doctoral thesis focused on synthetic peptides as novel therapeutics.
