About Sara

Dr. Sara J. Brandt is a Technology Specialist in Fish & Richardson’s Munich office. Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Brandt worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Helmholtz Zentrum München Institute for Diabetes and Obesity, with a focus on peptide-based pharmacologies.

Dr. Brandt earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Duke University and her doctoral degree in Biochemistry from Indiana University. Her studies included chemistry, biochemistry, biology, anthropology, and pharmacology, and her doctoral thesis focused on synthetic peptides as novel therapeutics.
