Dr. Meghana Gupta’s practice focuses on patent prosecution and counseling in the life sciences industry. She also provides assistance with due diligence, freedom to operate, patent portfolio management, and landscape review.

Meghana’s experience includes life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, and mechanical fields. She has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the fields of regenerative medicine; biologics; medical devices; gene therapeutics; molecular diagnostics; nucleotide and nucleic acid analogs; microbiology; cell biology; industrial processes and bioprocesses; pharmaceutical agents, treatments, and delivery; metabolic engineering; polymer and organic chemistry; plant and agriculture sciences; micro- and nano-electromechanical systems; foods; and nutraceuticals. She has experience with both U.S. and international patent practice.

She enjoys assisting pro bono cases, such as asylum cases, when time permits.

Meghana’s graduate work included understanding and elucidating the role of tyrosine phosphorylation of small guanine nucleotide exchange factors in various cell signaling pathways implicated in cancers. 

In her free time, Meghana enjoys riding bikes and spending time outdoors with her kids and husband.
