Kenneth Park, Ph.D., supports patent prosecution for technologies across a wide range of physical sciences and engineering, including mechanical and electrical devices, semiconductors, chemicals, energy, and manufacturing.
Before beginning his career in law, Ken worked as an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at Northwestern University, where he conducted AI-assisted fundamental investigations on multiscale electromechanical systems, multiphysics-based biological and agricultural systems, nanomaterials, and water treatment.
Ken is a recipient of the university’s prestigious award for excellent teaching (top 1%), and his research has been widely published in research journals, including Nature. Alongside his extensive technical expertise, Ken brings an inventor’s firsthand insight to his prosecution work, having been named in more than 20 patent applications.
Ken’s experience includes serving as a postdoctoral research fellow at Harvard University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, where he investigated hydrodynamic, chemical, thermal, and interfacial properties of oil-infused porous surfaces combined with multiscale surface textures.
Outside the office, Ken enjoys running and playing tennis with his family, as well as photographing nature, architecture, and people.
