About Craig

Craig Carlson is a technology specialist and patent agent in the Washington, D.C., office of Fish & Richardson P.C. He focuses his practice on counseling clients on IP protection and strategy for their inventions, preparing and prosecuting patent applications at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and handling inter partes review (IPR) proceedings at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Craig’s areas of technical expertise include electrical engineering, computer science, digital signal processing, cloud computing, integrated circuit (IC) design, computer architecture, search engines, cloud-based computing, medical devices, data mining, speech recognition, autonomous vehicles (AVs), and other processing systems. Prior to joining Fish, Craig had a career as an electrical engineer, where he focused on digital signal processing and digital communications.
