Experienced in both patent prosecution and patent litigation, Craig Deutsch is a leading practitioner in defending and invalidating patents in post-grant proceedings.
Craig offers his clients comprehensive IP counseling. He drafts and prosecutes patents for utility and industrial design subjects in the U.S. and abroad, conducts patent validity and infringement investigations and analyses, and advises on strategic portfolio management.
His technical experience spans mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical inventions, including mobile and connected devices, electromechanical equipment, building control systems, medical devices, oil extraction and production, and consumer products.
Before joining Fish, Craig was intellectual property counsel for 3M Co. and worked as a mechanical design engineer for Honeywell International Inc. His in-house IP counsel experience and hands-on engineering background enable him to advise clients with a firsthand, insider’s business perspective on tackling IP issues.
