Background

Jennifer Huang is a Principal in the Twin Cities office of Fish & Richardson, where her practice emphasizes patent prosecution, patent post-grant proceedings, due diligence, and patent litigation. Her work focuses on the areas of telecommunication systems, web applications, mobile device operating systems, social networking systems, internet advertising systems, medical devices, digital imaging systems, and optical system technology.

In addition to over eleven years of patent prosecution, Ms. Huang also has experience with post-grant proceedings and patent litigation. She has represented both patent owner and petitioner in numerous inter partes review (IPR) proceedings. Additionally, she has tried patent litigation cases for large multinational companies at the district court level and at the International Trade Commission (ITC).

As an undergraduate, Ms. Huang studied a variety of areas in electrical engineering and mathematics and focused her Senior Honors Project on optics. Additionally, prior to law school, Ms. Huang was employed at IBM where she worked on the testing and development of the Cell processor.
