Background

Leanne Flatter is an Associate in the Austin office of Fish & Richardson. Her practice emphasizes US and international patent prosecution in the fields of medical devices, software, wireless communications, oilfield production and drilling equipment, green technology such as carbon dioxide capture and injection systems, and robotics.  Leanne was previously a summer associate with the firm.

Prior to law school, Leanne earned her Master’s in Bioengineering from Clemson University, where she performed research related to mobile medical devices.  During law school, Leanne received the Dean’s Achievement Award in Patent Law and was awarded the 2017 Pirkey Prize for her paper titled “Arbitration in Intellectual Property Law.”
